Help! no sound on my tv!

It was fine last night, now....NOTHING!

Check all the leads and wires, especially the scart lead, and give them a little push, if this doesnt work (which it should) then unplug the tv from the mains, wait 5 mins, plug back in, wait another 5 mins, and turn on, if this still doesnt work, contact the customer service line of the company who made your tv

Note that this type of device is designed to be left on at all times, so should not be switched off each night. I suspect that it has some slight corruption in the user-settings, so a factory reset may be required.

Played the PS3 fine last night. Today I upgraded to 8.0 internet speed, went to play PS3 and now no sound. I have a surround sound system, tv plays fine, dvd player is fine, only my PS3 has lost sound....

Try go into sound settings and change it back to your surround sound. It happens to me all the time.

No sound from any source from speakers

check your connections again and ensure you have the audio going out. With many tv's you need to change a setting in the menu, double check that as well.

Open primary at T1 is most likely, but could also be the secondary on this transformer. (Fuses all check OK?)

Sound problem

check the menu on the tv to see if the speakers are set to off
I think if you connect it to external amp the tv's speakers must be shut off beofre it will activate the line out audio

Crashing sound on Protron 32 TV
