Car will crank but not start. Changed alternator and fuel pump. When do so i did disconnect battery. What elso could be the problem?

Begin with the basics, check all your fuses and relays. May want to check for fuel and spark. When you have verified all these, then check for any codes in your ECM.

I need to know the wire diagram for my 04 Silverado crew cab. Previous owner removed the original stereo and put a horrible after market stereo. Now I want to replace that with a after market stereo can...

use a test light and a battery. the black is ground, orange is constant and yellow is your turn on and off (ignition). then take a 9volt battery to check your speaker wires. front should be green and light green and gray and light gray. double check it has ben a while, rear is blue and light blue, a yellow and brown. you do not need any other wires in the harness unless you are using a power antenna or amp which you can use the yellow wire for ignition. double check with test light and 9volt battery. the 9volt battery will make the speaker pop noise, you then know you have a speaker when it makes that noise.

Alarm seems to work; been checked at Toyota but they say siren is broken and say it's a common fault. But everything else seems to work - you can hear the relay clicking; lights flash.

What is actually the problem, "Actually seems to work", what doesn't work.
If Toyota are on about the 9volt battery back up siren then the main siren may be working fine, but that might not be. Most cars especially Vauxhalls have a 9volt battery back up siren, so if someone tries stealing you motor and they disconnect the battery the 9volt battery will keep the siren going off.

No sound coming from my speakers

Possible scenerio's with the little info you gave.

1.You have a bad speaker thats blown or the wires are touching the chassis of your car.

2. You have a factory amp and you need to connect the blue wire to the amp turn on wire. And if it still doesnt work then you have to rewire it complete or maybe have to get a special car amplifier compatible harness so your aftermarket works with your amplified system in your car.

3. In certain Ford cars they crisscrossed the back speaker wires. To test this unplug your harness from the radio. VERY IMPORTANT( splice these colors of wires in the middle enough so you can use a 9volt small rectangular battery to make the speakers you want to test pop(harmless))
1. green = back left + speaker
2. green/black = back left - speaker
3. purple = back right + speaker
4. purple/black = back right - speaker

test green speaker wires first touch battery to the + and - and the speaker should pop if not you have already discovered the problem. Know this time pop the green + and the purple/black - on the 9volt battery if the speakers pop you have found the solution.

Just criss cross the the negatives of the back speakers. From the radio harness end attach green to green, purple to purple, green/black to purple/black and last purple/black to green/black. And all your speakers should work again.

Dont ask me why late Ford Models crisscrossed their speaker wires. They just did.

Lenovo S10 Series Turns on But The Screen Stays Black?

Take out your battery and hold down the power button for 60secs... This will release any excess charge built up in the machine.Put the power back on but without the battery, just plug the adapter and if it turns on then you know what's wrong. You need a new battery.Make your laptop light.Make sure you don't have anything attached to the Laptop and then restart. It could also be your hardware [motherboard, graphics card, screen] problem,if you can,try tightening the screen connection from inside. If that also doesn't solve the problem then you need to go to the company service center.

Black Screen

Thinking about this one I really think the video had nothing to do with the black screen. I would try to things one is reset the power management. Not know exactly what Powerbook you have I will give the most common way. Remove the Battery and the power cord from the powerbook, wait a few minutes then hold the power button for about 40 seconds. Then put the battery and power cord back in and restart it. The second thing to do is boot from the install disk that came with it and run the disk utility. I have also seen bad RAM do this but you would get at least a chime on startup.
