Question about Philips 55PW9363 55" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Hi, I have a 3 year old philips 55pw9363 and I have extended warranty. Convergence has gone bad and Im getting a new part from best buy. But I still have some problems. First, the picture shifts slights every once in a while. It happens with all inputs. Second, geometry seems to be off. The top and bottom in the middle come in, i think concave? I know you can fix through service menu but not sure what options. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has any knowledge with the service menu geometry options. thanks.
If you are doing the labor you should wait and replace the new part and while you are at it check for loose conections in the horizontal drive circuit since all symptoms might be related, but they are doing all the work they should address all the problems you have, settings in the service menu dont just change on their own and are adjusted only when a major comp[onent has been change like the convergence.

If I go into the service menu and list the settings, would anyone be able to tell me what they mean? What I mean is like by setting v amplitude, etc?
i fixed the over/underscan by going to service menu, i just wish i knew what those options meant.
