Volume Issue Just got a XG2206 cordless phone. I can't figure out how to turn the volume up (not of the ring, but voicevolume). Is there a way?

To modify the volume level on your phone please follow this steps:

To raise the volume:

• During a call: press the key up to raise the volume of the call.
• When the phone is ringing: Press the key up to raise the volume of the ringtone.

To lower the volume:

• During a call: Press the key down to lower the volume of the call.
• When the phone is ringing: press the key down to lower the volume of the ringtone.

Check make sure ringer is turned up,push speaker button then push volume button a volume thing should show up on the screen,keep pushing volume button and it will. Increase the volume.ty.

You can increase the ringer volume from the menu ... by the way Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless phone basically have very low ring volume ,,, try using an extra ringer which is very cheap or you can make your self ... Well it depends on the model, Most of them you can adjust the ringer volume by pressing the volume up key while the handset is onhook (not in use)

go to sound settings and select ring volume.then press up button as a result ur ring volume up.

If it is like mine....push on one of the volume buttons (up or down,doesn't matter) and the phone will ring. WHILE IT RINGS, push the button again and it should scroll to the next ring option. Keep pushing WHILE it rings to scroll through the ring options.

On most Uniden phones, just press the Volume up key to turn the ringer back on or turn the volume up, the more times you press the button the louder it will get. Conversely, pressing the down volume button will lower the ringer volume, and on some models eventually turn it off.

the manual for xact xg2201 cordless manual works for the xg2206 also. . .and I found this manual today at getxact.com. Theo

You can download the manual for a very similar phone, the KX-TG2302 at http://service.us.panasonic.com/OperMan/findmanual.aspx?cat=TEL and you can figure out all the features of a KX-TG2303. The simple answer is: while you are not using the phone, press the up or down volume button and it should turn the ringer back on. To turn the ringer back off, press and hold the down volume button until you hear two beeps. You can adjust the volume while the phone is ringing. The manual will tell you how to change your ringer tones, etc.
