Question about Bugaboo Frog Stroller
Hello, Our Bugaboo Frog was moved out of the way by someone, while the brake was fully on. The brake no longer works and I can see the broken end of the brake cable when I unscrew the nut at the base of the brake cable tube near the wheel. Can this be replaced? We live in Marseille, France; any suggestions about where to buy parts/take it for repair? Many thanks Aileen McGonigal
Just had our Frog brake cable replaced by the local bicycle repair man. It cost £5 and took 20 minutes!

I used the Contact Us link on the bugaboo site to send them an email and let them know that my Frog's cable had snapped (after 6 years of fairly constant use for 3 kids) and they are sending me a replacement one free of charge. I tried the bike shop route but the cable is not quite a standard bicycle one - it is "double-ended" and our local bike shops couldn't help me.

Our cable broke recently 1 week after the 2 year warrantee period; I contacted Bugaboo customer service and they provided us with a no hassle replacement of the chassis; my friend who had the same issue however had escalate escalate escalate til eventually she found someone senior enough who sent her the replacement cable (cost about $10 - 15) with VERY easy instructions to install...she did it herself in about 10 minutes she said...and it works like new. There is no real reason to replace the chassis; if you escalate enough you can get this repaired.
My experience with customer service however was stellar.

Aileen, Take it to a bicycle shop. This is a standard bike cable. I'm having a hard time fixing mine, but I bet they could do it. Phil
