What does a 5h code indicate

The GE dishwasher error codes I have seen start with a letter (usually "C") not a number. I suspect that this isn't an error, but an indication that you have activated the system to delay starting the dishwasher. I believe 5h represents a 5 hour delay. Pressing the "Delay" button should cycle through the different selections and eventually bring it back to Zero.

I have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Series Plus, Model GU940SCGT3, not working. It ran a cycle, cleaned the dishes, but the water didn't drain and the "CLEAN" light is stuck on. It is now...

Hi

If clean light is blinking then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry or High Temp Wash-Heated Dry-High Temp Wash-Heated Dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

I can't get the control panel to reset. The wash cycle light comes on but it just beeps and the dishwasher won't start. I press the start button and it stops beeping for a minute but it still...

II might need the actual model number. However, you can go to page 9 on this manual and check if the flashing options can fix the problem. I am assuming you have already tried to turn the power off and back on.

The ohter thing to try is the reset sequence. Within 6-7 secs press High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry. All lights should light up, press Start button to exit.

Dishlex global 300 : dishwasher dispenser won't

Hi just read your posting. The problem could be a faulty dispenser coil ,or the wires to it are faulty or the computer is faulty.Try selecting a normal eco wash and when you push the start button to start the machine hold the button in until the pre wash light turns off. This should make the dispenser activate straight after it fills. The only way to test which part is faulty is with an electrical meter.Have you or can you borrow one.If so then I can guide you step by step in finding the fault.please reply with additional information and I am sure I can help you further.Looking forward to your reply.

Kenmore 665.16032402 wont run

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the light flashes, pauses, and then repeats. When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (light flashes, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash

-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
