How to delete favorite button from command bar

the only way I know is to clear all recent locations. You can only select individual locations to clear from the favorites. Open maps, tap on the search bar, screen changes to show the common category icons, directly under is RECENTS and under that is Favorites. Tap on Favorites even if has 0 places. A list opens with a menu bar at bottom for Favorites, Recents, Contacts. Select Recents. You then get a Clear button and Done button at top of screen. Clear will remove all Recents. Only Favorites offers individual selections. We can only hope Apple improves this in a future release. I have not checked google maps - maybe it's more user friendly in this regard.

All of the below apply to windows 7 and above:

- If you are using IE, favorites are located in:
C:\Users\<current username you are logged in>\Favorites\
You can also hide the favorites bar by right-clicking anywhere on the top bar of internet browser and just uncheck the favorites bar from the list.

Similarly you can right-click on the top-bar for Mozilla and uncheck the favorites bar so it is not shown.

You bookmarks are on the left sidebar.

Your Favorites Bar is the second line down on Safari. You click on "View" then you can click hide or show the favorites bar.

You can edit the Favorites Bar by two finger clicking the touch pad or right clicking the (Non Apple) mouse.
You can also drag the link to the trash can to remove it.

To put another link in the favorites bar, click on the link in the tool bar and drag it to the favorites bar.

Note that you can also right-click items in the bookmark menu and click "Delete" to remove them.

RSS feeds are live bookmarks, which Web browser use to allow you to play back video from video sharing websites such as YouTube, Google, and Video.
Whenever you click an RSS feed, it links you to the original video. While web browsers allow you to add a number of RSS feeds, you can also remove the ones that you no longer want to so as to help you organize your live bookmarks.

Launch Internet Explorer and click the Favorites button located on the top of your browser. Right click the gray toolbar if you do not see the Favorites button.
Click the Favorites Bar option.
You should see the Favorites button.
Click it.
Click the Feeds tab.
You should see a list of the RSS feeds downloaded on your browser.
Right click the feed you want to remove and click Delete.
Repeat this same process to delete additional RSS feeds. Close Favorites when you finish.

You can always show the Favorites, Command, Status, and Menu bars by right-clicking the Tools button on the right, then select them from the drop down menu.

It is better to use your browser to clean-up temp internet files.
For Internet Explorer do the following...
1. while in Internet Explorer
2. click on Tools in either the Menu or Command bar
3. click on Internet Options at the bottom of the pop-up menu
4. on the Browsing history part of the Internet Options window
5. click on the Delete... button
6. on the resulting Delete Browsing History window
7. check-mark Preserve Favorites website data
8. check-mark Temporary Internet files
9. make sure everything else is not check-marked
10. click the Delete button at the bottom of the window
If you want to delete other items, check-mark them prior to pressing Delete button.
If you want to manage Temporary Internet Files click on the Settings button
and set appropriate options in the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window.
Finally, click OK when exiting to save the changes otherwise click the Cancel button.

I am not sure if you are referring to Bookmarks when you say your "favorite button". But I suggest you do a right lick any where above the address bar and you will have options like Navigation Toolbar, Bookmarks tool bar, and Customize. You can click on any of these options and see if they might help or give you a hint and get where you want to go to.
