Question about Creative Labs ZEN SLEEK MP3 Player

Inst. cd I just reinstalled my OS and had to reinstall several pieces of software including my player and I discovered that the cd is scratched and stuff and won't work:( I can add songs and pics to my player but it would bee a whole lot easier with the player manager.

You can take it to any re-sale game/video store and some video rental stores and they can fix the scratches for about 5 bucks.

If you have the software to your ( OS ) Operating System re-install and boot from the CD. There should be an operation for repair or reinstall for now choose repair. possibly your windows has become corrupted..try reinstalling it..if your dell came with pre-installed software,then you could use the OS reinstallation cd..note that you may loose all your data since reinstallation will include formating and deleting all your previous data

It seems if you have installed that CD before, if yes, all you need is just check weather you removed it properly.
Also check that the CD your are installing is scratch -free. doesn't contains any viruses.

if still this problem occurs then just open the CD-ROM after your PC has started running the disk.
Open that folder and manually install the software you require.

This usually means your HD has a virus. It could be a boot virus. The best way to get rid of it is to completely reinstall your OS. When you turn on your computer put in your OS software or recovery software (if software recovery does not work you will have to put on new version of OS from another disk). After you put the disk in, restart your computer and hit Enter when the screen prompts to Boot from CD...
If this does not work, you can purchase a anti-boot virus software from your local comp store, otherwise you may need a new HD. But try reinstalling the OS from scratch, that is the best way.

Sony vaio pcv-rs510 fails to fully boot. Goes past initial windows screen then blanks out.... safe mode fails to boot as well... command lines just pile the screen.. need help plzz

reinstall os.bios should be preset to boot from cd/dvd but if not power on then press delete key or escape key till bios loads-in boot opt. select cd/dvd drive first boot.put os disk in drive and restart when asked to press key to boot from cd do so.follow inst. instructions.after insall detects previous version of xp select repair (r key) and follow inst. should solve startup problem without losing data.if not reinstall os but select leave files intact instead of format or you will lose all files.

HP Officejet J5750 can't scan,fax from PC and no HP devices detected error

This issue is common with every HP scanning software used with Windows OS which have a firewall running.

If you would try the following:

- check the task bar if HP digital imaging monitor is up and running
- if not, go to C:\program files\hp\digital imaging\bin and double click the file HPQTRA08.EXE
- now the monitor should run
- if not, pls reinstall the software (*)
- if yes, pls try to open HP solution center

- if solution center starts, pls try to scan or to fax
- if successful, no other steps are required

- if faxing is not successful, check in the printer folder, if you find a HP <device name> series fax entry
- if you cannot find it, unplug the printer and delete the entries in both the printer folder and scanner folder
- also run the software CD and start the uninstall_l1.bat and uninstall_l2.bat in the util\CCC on the CD (if 64 bit OS, the run the 64 bit versions)
- restart the PC with the loaded CD
- replug the printer and let it be reinstalled

(*) For a clean reinstall it is recommended to contact HP support. They know the best way to leave a clean system on the PC.
