Permanent emptying on Indesit D61D Dishwasher

I have a basic D61 that recently when put on a program attempts to fill but empties at the same time. I know this is normal at the start of any program but usually this stops and the machine will fill and start the program. Is something I can fix (I am reasonably technical) or do I need to call out Indesit (150Euro + parts!) I have looked at water supply and this is not a problem. All help advice gratefully received.

The repair can be done yourself you need to first purchas a can of liquid wrench with extention. and first shut off power or disconnect power. there is a acess panal that you need to remove to get at gears to grease once it is greased you will need to turn the dial a couple of times (powerless) and replace the panel and plug or turn on power (when you are turning the knob besure to return to the start cycle ) if you need more info please email me [email protected] thank you and good luck

Dishwasher

Check to see how fast water is entering the dishwasher.
They work on a timed basis with a float switch being a safety.
You may want to check how the water gets into the dishwasher and  then see if there is plugging somewhere.

Dishwasher

that comes across a little scrambled to me.
seems like you have a 'salt reservoir' of some sort. am not familiar with that.
perhaps you could take a little more time and break the problem down to smaller parts, making sure it is understandable. i will try hard to help you, but i can not understand your issue at this point.
please try to take it through the steps of what happens, and what should be happening. as well as a little info on age of the unit and the maker.
thanks
let me know more.
