my phone does this ever so often... you will lose all the data on the phone. with the phone off take the sdd card out and then while holding the volume button (+ or - changes from phone to phone... hold the volume camera and power button and wait for the screen you dont ever see, if you stop holding or hold the wrong volume button it will not work... then when that screen pops up hit your menu button on the touch screen, use the volume button to scroll down to system restore or what ever its called and select it with the camera button... then reboot your phone.
Take the Battery out.
Place it back in.
Press and hold the Vol down : Home : Power buttons simultaneously for 10 sec.
Using the volume buttons navigate to the reset to factory settings option.
press select (left of home on L55C).
Confirm to reset.
Select to reboot.
You should be good.

Remove your battery, and leave it out for a minute or so, put it all back together, and charge... it may look lie it isn't, but since this phone seems not to have an LED the navigation buttons are your only indicators of trouble(pure speculation). Your battery is probably depleted. i found out the hard way that a Droid X won't charge it properly... hope this helps
i had the same problem with mine and it ended up being that one of the batteries was bad, there are two 12v batteries wired in series under the seat, usually you can tell which one is bad by looking at them, one of the batteries will be swelled up
