You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. You may try connecting the Walkman to different functional USB port on the Computer or different Computers. Press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds then try charging it. If the issue persists then you may try using a different USB cable. If the player doesn't charge even after using a replacement USB cable then service will be required.
first of all the rca jacks in the back of your radio are for plugging in an amp, not your mp3 player. there should be an auxiliary jack(looks like a headphones jack) in the front of the head unit. if there is no auxiliary jack in the front then you will have to go buy a new head unit with an auxiliary jack.
1. install the drivers from cd which came along with the player 2. check the USB adapter cable 3. Check the message dialong whenever you connect your USB cable to ur computer on the taskbar. 4.if you get message " one of the usb device connected cannot be recongised" then the problem with the Player adapter controller 5.your computer USB may be malfuntioning 6. check for the drivers installed. if not install drivers from the installation diskette thank you
