NOT PLAYING ANY DISCS

NOT PLAYING ANYTHING AT ALL. ITS CLEAN AND UPDATED. LOST THE RECEIPT SO AM I OUT OF LUCK?

    my ps3 accesepts the game in to its console then i go in to my menu and theres nothing there!!! im really onioded and if i cant get it fixed i will probzz buy a X-box although they are **** they still dont break

    i cant get any game disks or movies to play it tries but it just wont register.

    downloaded overlord demo played it a few and now none of my games work (6 of em that all previously worked

I rebooted my PS3 back to factory settings to try to solve the problem of it not recognizing my bluetooth head set. Upon reboot it will not read any disc.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix-it?

My ps3 freezes somtimes when you turn it on but if it gets by that when you click on an icon it freezes and i dont have the recept wont play movies or games

Have u tried cleaning the laser, and not with a cleaning disk as the lense on these are concaved and the cleaning disk only gets the edges, this would mean removing the Blu-ray unit stripping it and cleaning lense with cotton buds and lense cleaning fluid.

Panasonic DMR BWT735 no longer formats blue ray discs, but will format 4.7 & 8.5 gig discs.
NO...do not take anything apart. Just the idea Formatting any size disc works, means the hardware is functional. Just make certain the hardware data programs and updates are done to assure operation. There could be a new Device driver needed, or Firmware for the Panasonic that needs updated. Check all other possibilities. If you move the read/write head out of alignment just a millimeter, the device will be useless.

Is having trouble reading or tracking disc.I opened top and while playing disc the tracking mechanism goes out then back in and starts playing where it stopped?
You can clean the lens with a small amount of windex and put a little oil like 3 and 1 oil on the spindle motor shaft and on the sled rails. Good luck !

Will it play standard DVD discs, if yes there is a problem with the laser pickup assembly, blu-ray disc require greater precision and speed when playing these discs because of the higher resolution.

5 disc cd changer CC4000 will not read
All players need cleaned from time totime. Do NOT try to clean it with anything other than a CD / DVD lens cleaner. They are available almost everywhere that sellsBlank media. It will clean the lens without scratching or smearing it.

System keeps locking when playing games and the discs are not dirty. Should a lens cleaner fix the problem?
If its happening on different games, and the discs are not dirty it shouldn't and it means its faulty.
Dont clean it or do anything to it , return it to the store where you bought it or get on the playstation website and get onto thier support people for a replacement.

You are out of luck if you lost a product you paid for. Just because it is related to computers doesn't mean it'd be free...if you lost your running shoes and had a receipt, Foot Locker would not give you a new pair!

Not reading some dvds
Could be it does not like the brand of dvd discs, if they are dvd burnt discs. You need to be more specific, is it reading any dvds at all??? If it has no issues with cds, it may not be the driver, but if it is playing up, it would not hurt to try unistalling it and reinstalling also with an updated driver. good luck lilacgerry xxx
