Hi Toyota Ed, I have a cd stuck in the player of my 2004 Camry. I noticed that this happened the same time my keyless remote started beeping. So, I checked some fuses, all of which are okay, and found that my battery was corroded at the positive terminal. I was thinking that these electrical issues were linked together. I have fixed the beeping keyless remote and cleaned the battery, but I cannot get the cd out. It is as if there is no power getting to the player. The radio and tape player still function. I would appreciate any advise you could offer. Thanks, Alexz
I have observed this situation several times.
What I do to rectify this condition is to remove the radio from the dash, unplug both of the wiring harness connectors at the rear of the radio, and then plug them back in. This "resets" the CD player; but, I have found that just removing the fuses does not "reset" the CD. This should help you out.
Thanks for asking for personal assistance; glad to help; and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I had to have the battery replaced and the cd was able to come out without taking the player out of the dash, but the cd player no longer plays. Thanks for the help.
I just replaced the car battery in a 2004 camry and since then the "cd" player will not play, it won't even go on even when you press the "cd" button. There is a cd stuck inside. The radio works so it can't be a fuse, does it mean the cd player needs to be reset?
