Check the voltage to the motor when the program goes to the spin cycle. If there is voltage then check for free movement and also check on the capacitor to the motor. In some cases the high speed coil winding to the motor for the high RPM spin cycle can be faulty.

May be a bad door switch. Washers usually let you open the machine (top load) while in wash, but not for rinse and spin because of the high speed. If the door switch is bad, it may think the door is always open and therefore wont go past the wash cycle.
The drum is controlled by a breaking system at the bottom of it. It is the agitator in the center that does most of the work during wash and rinse. The drum would spin very fast during spin cycle.
Check if the solenoid for brake control is working. Check that the drive belt is not sagged. It should be tensioned correctly.

Need to check during the wash cycle that the power goes to the motor during the rinse or spin cycle. Try and see if you can manually go to the spin cycle without the fuzzy logic. If so the program controller unit is a suspect as the microprocessor internal memory is faulty and executes the program with error or no output.
Check and see what type detergent you are using. I bought regular liquid detergent and the machine began making noise during the spin cycle and the drum would not spin.I was informed that you have to use detergent that is labeled HE (High Efficiency).The regular liquid detergent will suds up during the wash cycle which then causes the drum to slip and not spin during the spin cycle.What you are hearing during the spin cycle is the drum slipping.Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and let it reset. This lets the suds dry out. Run a cycle with no spin to rinse out the drum.This should eliminate your problem.If you have clothes in the machine, run a cycle with no spin, just don’t add any more detergent.Then run the normal cycle with spin a second time with no detergent. I hope this cures your problem.
most new washers have cold water only rinse and spray rinse ck cold water coming into machine during wash if no cold comes in suspect cold side of fill vale not opening ..could be wiring issue or a bad valve
check to make sure you have both the hot and cold water lines connected and the water is turned on. sometimes the hot or cold line will clog up and it will not fill up during the rinse cycle.
the humming sound may be the water valve coming on but no water is coming thru.
if you have a warm rinse set it to that to see if this is the problem.
you can clean the screens on the water valve by taking the water inlet hoses off the machine and you can look at the screens onside.
if not it may be a timer problem.
