I do have a similar problem with my ImageClasss MF3110. What I photocopy the first page, the LCD folashes with the message"Check Paper Size" It will not sopt flashing the Memory/Alarm light until I power the printer off. So I have to keep on unplugging the device in order to make copies.

I have seen thei before where it was affecting the printing too until i had to reset my printer drivers software to default. I not able to make changes to resolve the copying issue. Please let me know what I should do.

    Thanks, Titus, Texas.

I couldn't find your exact model, but I did find one close. Under the Tech Support section, there is a Step-by-Step Troubleshooting guide. Just look for the display errors that you list above for possible solutions.

Okay ya'll I've dealt with this problem twice. The first time it was super frustrating but eventually I figured it out.

First things first turn off your printer, unplug the USB connecting it to your computer.

Restart your computer (with printer not USB not connected to it)

Now comes the fun part. Open the middle area of your enormous printer and take out that stupid printer cartridge. Now put it back in.

Each time this error has happened to me these actions have solved the problem.

Oh yeah and for all of the new owners of this printer, this error can easily happen to those who forget to take out that strip that is on the side of the brand new printer cartridge.

Okay I just wanted to stress one thing-- when you unplug your printer make sure not to power it up for at least ten minutes. That has always helped me.

Change papersize when receiving fax

Try searching the online support site for the manufacturer of your printer and search for "reset printer" and follow those instructions, or search the check paper size error and see what they say to do....
(for HP, go to, etc.)

Incorrect Paper Size Canon super G3 fax

Sometimes turning it off and on again fixes it. However, we started having a problem where it would print out one page after you powered it back on again and then give the "incorrect paper size" message. I've found that by either holding down the green button or repeatedly pressing it while it powers back on (and held until the first page prints) fixes the problem.

Constant messages "Check Paper Size"

Try this first..... Some faxes can be configured for different paper sizes for timing of the preinting process. This would be either tabs on the back of the paper drawer of a soft setting found in the owners manual.

Canon Laserbase MF5650

Only thing I do is to re-boot the printer and check your print size is the same as the paper size in the printer.. pretty poor this
