I have a whirpool ultimate care II and it was working perfectly till last week. The washer fills up with water and then the spinning cycle does not start. I have tried changing the load size, taking off clothing, unpluging the maching, restarting, everything, but nothing happens.
I search in the internet on regards to the problems with the Whirpool Ultimate Care II and found out that many others had the same problem as I did. Some solved this issue replacing the switch, so i decided to do the same.
I opened the machine and saw that the switch was not working properly, it was not doing any contact, so whenever I open or closed the lid, nothing was happening. I did a house fixing, with some duck tape i was able to make the system work, and now the machine is washing everything again.
