Flickering & power off

I have a night mariner in excellent cosmetic condition that works, sort of. It comes on and gives a great picture. But, at the same time, the image flickers... not totally off and on but just flickers... about one or two times a second. The flickers are fast and irregular, like 1/2 second, then 1 second, etc. Then after a few minutes, the entire instrument powers itself off. If you turn it back one, it will do it all over again. Batteries are fresh. Thanks Al Jennings

Seems to me that you have a failing power supply. Suggest you contact ITT warranty repair dept.

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. The convergence circuit has probably failed and needs replacing of the two ICs called STKs. The normal cost for having this done is around $400. You can repair it by yourself, BUT you must be an experienced electronics tech and advanced soldering expert. If so, you could do the job for around $200 or less. Don’t even think about it unless you have some deep experience with electronic component replacement.

My 1 and 2 settings on my heat knob on my 2007 Mercury Mariner does not work but, the 3 and 4 settings on the heat knob work. Not sure why. Help.

What is the market price for a used 2004 Peg Perego John Deere Gator 4x4 12 Volt Ride on toy. Great condition with a new battery.

a used gator in good condition should at least bring $100-150. it mainly depends on how it has been treated and stored. if its clean, good gearboxes and not faded, i would put it on craigslist for $150. there is a lot of demand for those, ive sold them in really bad cosmetic shape but working for $50 and in great shape with good battery and charger for $200. take a good picture and try and find the charger, that will add $

Not sure if this applies, but this is on the Morovision site: http://www.morovision.com/faqs.htm Because of the manufacturing processes, all night vision image tubes will have different cosmetics such as small spots or specs, photocathode coloring, or a chicken wire effect from the microchannel plate. Most cosmetics are only noticed during viewing in high light situations such as viewing with the daylight filter on in a lit room. Most cosmetic blemishes are not noticeable during normal nighttime operation but may still be seen to some degree in certain situations. These cosmetics in no way effect the performance of the image tube and do not decrease the ability to perform nighttime tasks.

Screen/Picture Flickering

alo all..

i got problem wif my TV... sony wega trinitron 29inch..

- last 2 night... the TV @ screen slowly lost color for 2-4second... and after that it suddenly turn off for 5-10second and turn back on itself. the led blink 3-5times....

what the problem to my TV?
