You will have to contact Zio's old website for a "program build upgrade". It's free & can be downloaded on top of your existing program. It should install all of the latest drivers & upgrades for that program. Zio is now defunct and is under the Pinnacle wing. Contact Pinnacle if all else fails. They will be glad to assist you or sell you one of their products - which might be a favorable solution.

My lacie drive will shows up on the desktop and you can see all the folders and files but it will not allow me to open up my project files in Final Cut Pro.

I'm going to have to guess a bit based on limited information I have on this, but did you create a Final Cut Pro sequence on the Lacie on one computer and then are trying to open the sequence on another computer?
That won't work if that's the case ...
The FCP sequence refers to files, but doesn't include them in the sequence file ... All of the referred to files will have to go along on the Lacie and be transferred to the same folders on the second computer so the FCP sequence will find them.
You can try consolidating the project in FCP to make the transfer easier ... after consolidating it, the files needed for the project should be trimmed and all located in one place (scratch disc selected in preferences)

Once again, the sequence file does not contain your movie clips, audio or other assets .... they are located in different places on the computer where you create the sequence, and if you move to another computer everything has to move into exactly the same place ...

Hope this helps

Nikon s51 can't transfer video from camera to comptuer

Try removing the memory card and insert it into a USB card reader and connect it to the computer to read/copy the images/video files.
You should format your memory card using the camera functions before you take the next lot of pictures and videos.

Transferring a video from fe-210 camera to the computer

If you check 'My Computer,' you will find the camera shown as an external drive (assuming that you have connected it to the system) and if you 'open' or explore that drive, you will find folders, sometimes nested, and at the lowest level, there will be your files.
If you don't recognize the extension (it should be .mpg), hovering over an icon will give you a thumbnail description and title of the file.
You can cut, copy, move, etc. these files just as any others and place the file you have chosen in any folder on your hard drive where you want it.
The camera's memory is essentially an external flash drive and can be handled the same.

DLNA Projector-Enjoy Vacation AVCHD videos on Projector with NAS sharing via...

Video Management for DLNA-Connect and Stream AVCHD Video to Projector via DLNA on NAS with Window 7 MTS/M2TS Joiner

We have a happy summer in Hawaii. With our travel companion, the compact Panasonic Lumix FZ100, we shot videos in 1920x1080 60i. But we got a large amount of clips when we connect the camera to PC from our vacation. Our PC with Windows Media Player 12 can play the videos, but we generally put the videos to NAS, so that our devices can find and enjoy/play Vacation videos on Projector via DLNA. I use the HD Writer AE, but could not join several clips in a quick and easy way.

My friend recommends me to use Aunsoft Final Mate, and it really does a good job with the preview. There seems no quality loss while the files are joined into one large file. What is more important, the whole process is done in a blink second.

It facilitates the Video Management for DLNA, which would be stored in NAS. We can not only play the videos on PS3 hooked to my Samsung HDTV, but also watch them on LCD projector connected to the HTPC. Below are my simple steps using Final Mate to merge AVCHD clips on Windows 7.

About DLNA Projector :

How to Merge AVCHD Videos and Connect/Stream to Projector via DLNA?

1. Get AVCHD file for DLNA sharing.
Click the Export button under the volume settings, and click the OK button to start joining AVCHD files into one large file.

So no matter you are using Popcorn Hour, PlayStation 3, NAS from Netgear, Synology, QNAS, LCD projectors like LG HS200 or other home projectors, you can easily Stream and Play HD videos with projector via DLNA.

My pictures transfer to the computer too slowly.

If you are transferring Tiff files or video clips, you can expect the transfer to take much longer than it does for JPEG files, due to large file sizes. The transfer speed is especially slow when you are using a serial connection. If your system has less than 32MB RAM, the transfer speed may be slow. Try using virtual memory. See your computer documentation or system help for more information. Check the port setting in your Windows Control Panel. You may need to set your port to a faster speed. See your Windows documentation or help system for more information. If you're transferring pictures to an application through EPSON Photo!3 and you use the PhotoEnhance(tm) feature, the transfer will take longer. Try transferring without PhotoEnhance.
