I can push the eject button and all the lights will come on and it will eject the disc. I can push the display button and it will turn on the display and show the time. BUT, if I push the power button, nothing happens. The radio won't turn on and acts like its dead. Why would the other options still work, but not allow the radio to turn on? I've dealt with alot of head units and this is a first for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Replace the 15 amp spade fuse in the back of the unit. See if that get you going again. If that doesn't do it then check your wirin Black goes to ground, Yellow is a constant hot, Red is a hot trough the fuse box, Blue is for your power antenna if you have one, the Orange with a White Stripe is to the Illumination and is also hot.

SOURCE: jvc kd lx111 deck wont eject cd
I just had this problem today and when I attempted to eject the CD it would give me an error message that stated (ERR 32). Apparently this means that there is something blocking the movement of the screen, a little manipulation should help the issue. Another variable could be the Eject lock feature, essentially a "child lock" for your disc. When this lock is activated it prevents the CD in the deck to be ejected. You can change this by holding down the blue source button and the eject button simultaneously for about 2 or 3 seconds. A message should appear saying "No Eject" and one that repeatedly flashes "Eject on" These two things seemed to help me alot when I had this issue. If those things don't work I would recommend calling JVC, much to my suprise they were actually really helpful. Their number is 1-800-252-5722.

I have this exact problem. Head unit worked for almost a year and then suddenly started acting like this. The connection was never changed. So far I believe its a fuse problem. Also my car cigarette lighter stopped working at the same time so I'll get back to you once i replace the fuse.
