Yes, if facing the front of the unit, with the cover off, when i hit the power button, the 5th white box from the left, turns an orange color when i hit the power button, and then kicks the unit off... i unplugged it and hit the power button again, then i touched the white box with my finger and it was already hot to the touch... is this a fixable problem??... oh yeah, my problem started when i decided to run my computer to my stereo with the digital RCA cable as opposed to the line out to stereo RCA configuration which i had been using... when there would be a loud part of a song, the RT2360 would overload and shut off, even tho i had the WAVE volume, master volume and SPDIF volume at a minimum... then the last time the RT2360 worked, i started to smell something and felt the top of the stereo and realized it was too hot, i went to shut it off and before i could move my hand from the top of the unit to the bottom, it sounded like it shorted out... thats when the "orange white box" problem started... is it a paperweight now?

Open it up then plug it in. when you press the power button see if one of the large white boxes (there are six in a row) lights up red.

Samsung home cinema wont turn on

Sounds like it's stuck in it's power saving mode. If you've tried reset, checked all the connections, and kicked out the plug for a Cold Reboot and it's still no go, open the back, spit in it 3 times and hit it with a rock - or take it to a TECH because you've already done ALL that you are capable of, or you'd already know that.

MY SONY HBD-DZ810 HOME THEATER IS CONSTANTLY SHOWING PUSH POWER PROTECTOR

The "PROTECT" and "PUSH POWER" messages will flash alternately when the protective device of the amplifier has been activated because a strong signal was input, or if there is a short-circuit detected. Press the POWER button on the unit to turn off the system, and check the following items after "STANDBY" disappears.

1) Are the + and - speaker cords short-circuited?
2) Are you using only the specified speakers?.
3) Is anything blocking the ventilation holes of the system?

Turns off immediatly, flashing code F61

Check the main set fan is turning or not once you press power button on main set.
If it is turn then is Digital amplifier IC (as above mentioned) damaged.

If not then is the fan malfunction.

THE HOME SYSTEM IS Pioneer HX HTD340

i had the same problem and is not that hard...maybe the only difference is that i have a xv-ev7 pioneer home theater, but this probably is gonna work for ya. So, when the timer is blinking wait for a few seconds and then turn it on and inmediatly push the timer button. that should work. if not, grab a hammer and...well u know!!
