When i fax on brother intellifax 770, receipiant get a black page

do a quick check on 2 things.
- Copy a document(put a printed page on document feeder and press Copy button) , has the Copy come ok? if copy is also blank that means toner/ink problem, needs to be replaced.

- check with your Fax receive Print settings. is any setting of econo mode/ contrast/brightness Off the track? If found any of such issue then Reset it or put it on average (middle).

You probably need a prefix to dial out of your office. If it's a home fax machine, you may need to dial the number "1" plus the phone number you wish to dial.

Try to copy a document. If the copy comes out black then the the scanner is dirty. Clean the scanner glass (products on the market that clean by sending through the scanner) and try to copy again. If after cleaning the scanner, the copy is still black you have a scanner issue and the laser/scanner unit will need replacement. The intellifax-770 deffinetly cannot connect to a PC. There are several other models that can, but not this one.
