Blown board I turned on the tv and heard something pop. I opened the back up and one of the boards blew. Part # LJ41-00916A. I took it to a repair place and they said it will cost me $1o9o.45 to fix. Is there any way I can buy this board myself.... Help please

Based on the part number what you need is the Main board,if you are sure call 888-498-7278 give them the part number and they can sell ou the complete board direct for 315.00 + shipping.Hows that

Heard a pop noise from LG 60PC1D tv, tv shut off and now the picture looks like a negative kind of...what is wrong?
Capacitor on the power supply popped and it is not allowing the proper voltage to be reached to the main board. This is messing up your picture. I would repair it before you create more damage from the blown capacitor on the power supply.

I have a RCA Plasma TV p42whd33. was watching tv heard a pop and the screen went blank. How do i fix this
This sounds alot like the same issue I had with my HP 42 inch plasma. Many plasmas had an issue with failures on the YSUS and ZSUS printed curcuit boards.

If you are willing and able to do some dissasemply yourself, open the TV and see if it uses these cards...if so then look at the solutions listed for the HP PL4260N TV issue.

I found the fuse blown on my YSUS board, I removed it and had it repaired by coppel TV..if you find a board that is bad, chances are someone on EBAY repairs them or swaps them out...mine cost $75 to repair and I was back in business...TV works fine again now that I had the board repaired.

You have a shorted circuit board in there somewhere, fuse pop for a reason.

I have aVizio VX42L HDTV10A. was watching a show when we heard a loud pop.Then all went dark. Would not turn back on. I took off the back cover and found the ceramic fuse was blown on the board # DPS-283AP...
This means you have a dead short, It is probably a Diode in the power supply area, but without testing board you don't know. If you know basic electronics, i would say check all diodes in power supply and look hard for something burnt and replace that also. Or just replace power board, check shopjimmy.com

Tv blew up
Power board probally have burn capacitors.Take the tv aparts,check for puff up or burst open capacitors.Know how to solders? Replaced these capacitors well get ur power back.Or replaced the whole power board buy it at Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com.

Sony KF-50XBR-800Replacement Lamp blew after 1 minute
Although this is rare, the problem is the lamp driver board, commonly called the ballast board. Follow the leads back from the lamp an you will find a smallish rectangular board with one large connector and one small one (besides the two wires going to the lamp). If you feel confident, they can be ordered from a Sony parts distributor such as Vance Baldwin or Union Electronics Distributor for about $115 - $150

If you dont feel confident, you can have a shop repair it for about $450

I have a Sony KDP-57WS550 tv, while watching tv through Direct Tv the signal went out and when it came back on the picture is like your watching 3D, double vision in red.
