IPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos music to iTunes library. then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies"("Music") tab, check the videos(Music)you want to sync and click "Apply", done.
If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with quite fast conversion speed and excellent output quality, that's really good for me, you can free download it here:

Maybe your videos aren't in the correct format. Try converting them to .mov (which is the format of quicktime). You can use "Total Video Converter" or any other video converter. Save your videos and then take them to iTunes. Connect your Ipod and check the "sincronize videos" option. breNda!

SOURCE: only one ear on my ipod video works.
i have a sugetion , i have the same problem but when u press the headphone jack a little it works right? well it could be that the joint in the headphone jack on the Ipod/ or MP3 is not getting any connection just call the ipod service or get someone professional to tak it apart and fix it.
