Hi!
I have a LOOX 610 with the hi302e gps. My PDA also recognise it as a modem but i press dismiss and use the device just fine.. in the application you use (such as tomtom) you must select the GPS reciver "CF_CARD GE"
Works fine here anyway:)

There are many different compatible CF cards for the removable CF version of the 2620 that will work. A search of "Garmin 2620 CF" will yield what you are looking for for around $15.
u need an external gps device bought separately and then trhu bluetooth u can communicate with this software in ur HTC , u have external bluetooth device or not
nowdays GPS is coming builtin so there is no need to purchase separate reciever but in ur PDA it is not built in
only the counties loaded on the CF card would be lost - the main base map is in the units' main memory. If you have both disks simply copy the wMap program over to your PC to download counties to the CF card. See Whistler's FAQ page for more info on Galileo GPS unit.
Personally I have not GPS on my PDA but there is no reason that it should not work properly. The only thing is that you should pay attention on several things. Check by software producer if the software is compatible to your PDA. Please also be careful which ports use GPS hardware because your PDA has no USB port just serial port.
With another words check all this important things before you buy anything.
as far as I know the e750 supports the SD-Card I/O standard.
You can check your system seettings, go to START - SETTINGS - SYSTEM - SYSTEM INFORMATION - DRIVERS
There should be seen the SD/MMC Host driver, the SD/MMC Memory Driver and CF Card driver. Also if the gps card needs a driver, it should be installed also!
Perhaps a system reset helps you in the end!
It is not easy to say what the problem can be. In my opinion you should contact the producer of this GPS receiver and ask them what the problem is. If this has been tested the producer must be able to help the users.
When connected with Activesync you can use your Internet connection on the PC.
In the Activesync Window: Options/Rules/Pass Through - Connection: The Internet
Then leave the PDA in the cradle and access the Internet on the PDA, works automatically ever after.
