Hi Guys ,
I have Pioneer IS-22CD CD . I haven't used it in a bout 2 months but when I set it up again yesterday you can't hear any sound until the volume is at level 25 and at max volume its audible but still low .This is at all function eg radio, cd, aux in etc. Also , the tape deck doesn't open anymore . This is all baffling me completely as the system was fine before I put it into storage(it was in a closet ) . Can anyone help me please I love that stereo and paid over a grand for it . Its just over 2 years old .
Cheers,
Robbie

Opps sorry the correct model you have starts with an XC ??? XC-IS22CD. Please include the complete model number in the future. Ok you don't have any tape monitors in this unit. But you could have a muting problem, or the amp. is not connected correctly, or there is a problem in the amp section of this unit.Opps sorry the correct model you have starts with an XC ??? Hi:) Sound like the pre-amplifier transistors are burnt out if you hear no sound at all. If you can hear a very fate sound then it would be the Output amplifier IC's. If you are using a separate output amp check the amp.
Get to the set-up menu by pressing the source button until just the clock is displayed, no music just the clock. Now press and hold the "func" button until "Menu" appears. Now scroll thru the various items using the up & down or the side to side buttons. I believe you will find the item for US or Europe or like Alpine reads Area 1 for US and Area 2 for the rest. Good luck.. Mark
Yesterday I installed the Pioneer DEH-2050MPG in an old Beetle I just bought, and had the same problem. The instructions were completely useless; Ignore them.
Here's how to set the time...
1. Hold the source button down until clock starts flashing. 2. Use arrow buttons to set time. 3. Press source again to save.
I found out how to fix the no sound problem on The HP Pavilion DV1000 Look under Dv1310 thats the model number the driver your looking for is SP30262.exe
hi, guys, you are controlling the windows settings for the sound card, thats ok, but u need to chech if the DVD sound settings are set to surround 5.1 channel, now where the settings are will depend on what player u are using. let me know guys??
The constant power (yellow wire) needs to be connected to an unswitched +12V source. It sounds like that's either unconnected or you've connected it to a switched power source.
This sounds like the voltage regulator in the alternator of you car is the problem - take it to an auto repair electrician and get him to check it, as this may cause all sort of other problems too
Hope this helps, please post again if the regulator is not the problem (though i'm fairly sure) and we can hopefully help more :)
