SOURCE: Whirlpool Gold quiet partner III, leaves dirty, greasy dishes

Ifixall is correct. I also learned several things with the apartment buildings I maintain.

1. the screen or pump trap must also be cleaned regularly to make sure there is no debris, food etc stuck in there.

2. The spray arms must be free of debris or obstructions.

3. Jet dry solution must be filled or has some solution in it.

4. Water must be hot

5. Scraping dishes and prewash them before putting them into dishwasher.

6 install water softner sometimes helps. (I don't know how true this is, since I am unable to do this in our buildings)

7 drain line must be picked up, or secured to prevent backwash.

8. MAKE sure that the lower rack is not obstructing the sprayer arms. Sometimes overloading dishwashers will cause dishes not being cleaned properly.

9. if all else fails, a service technician can come out to determine if the dishwasher is operating properly.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Quiet Partner 2

More likely: the solenoid which directs the water to either the drain or the spray arm is clogged/jammed. Located underneath near the drain line.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Quiet Partner II

Take the back of the door off and remove the panel where all the wires lead to. If you look at the handle that holds the door shut there are 4 wires on a connector there on its switch. There should be a brown one. Follow that wire back and about 12 inches later there is a little switch it connects to. That switch is your problem. Remove both wires connecting to it, splice the 2 wires together and your dishwasher should work fine until you get the actual replacement part. If not you can just leave the wires spliced and it will still work fine. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Dishwasher fills and heats water, but doesn't wash.

I disassembled the bottom spray arm assembly to find a piece of chicken bone wedged against the motor gear. There was also lots of food debris lodged in every crevasse One main hole in the spay arm had paper lodged in it. So it was beneficial to do the extensive cleaning.
The dishwasher fired right up after I put all pieces back together.

Whirlpool DU1055XTSQ2 Quiet Partner 1 Has grinding noise at start up. Can you send a diaghram so I can take off the bottom sprayer and what do you gthink it could be?

Is start up after filling with water? After it fills the wash motor starts to work. Some times the spray arm could hit the heating coil when it turns. Make sure the spray arm is not loose. But most likely its the wash motor.

I have a whirlpool quiet partner i dishwasher (model DU1055XTSQ2) that has suddenly stopped working. Control panel has partial functionality. All of the buttons on the control panel have a green LED...

The control board has failed.

CLICK HERE to see the parts breakdown.

CLICK HERE to see/order the part

Open the door & remove the 8 or so allen screws. The board is simply plug and play.

Bad design - the vent is right by the board - so its subjected to moisture.

Thanks!

I have the Whirlpool Quiet (??) Partner II. My

Have this same problem with my Whirlpool DU1145XTBA. Found out that when you start the unit, it fills with water. If the water does not rise above the filter mesh in the bottom center of the unit then the pump doesn't have enough water to supply pressure to the upper sprayer. Had to replace the Flow Meter. It tells the unit how much water to supply to the unit.
