Phone freezes at random times, pull battery to restart
V3 will freeze at random intervals ranging from a few seconds to several hours. I have to pull the battery & reseat it to get the phone back on. Checked battery contacts and swapped batteries; neither helped. I can turn it on and set it down and it will freeze or it will stay on while I carry it around. Leaving it open or closed makes no difference. Any options other than replacing it?
Bought a new V3 at a Cingular store. Old phone stayed on overnight, though without the SIM card, it could not call. I took the SIM card out of the new phone and put it back in the old phone, and it has worked normally for >24 hours. The only change was that the SIM card was removed and replaced a day later. Could a piece of dust or something gotten in and made for intermittent contacts in the SIM, causing the freeze problem?Bought a new V3 at a Cingular store. When the computer freezes, you can remove the battery physically instead of having to wait the few hours for it to run down. Underneath the laptop are two tabs holding the battery in, just release them and pull it out.
Are you using the machine on a soft surface (bed, couch?) that would allow it to overheat and malfunction when it freezes? Are you overloading the CPU with too many overbearing programs? Perhaps you've got a virus?
You'll need to be more specific about what you are doing when the freezing occurs. This could be anything ranging from software to hardware faults.
Press and hold FRZ TEMP button and REF TEMP button at the same time for 3 seconds. And see if that makes any difference in the problem.

If the problem is same then try the manual reset procedure. In manual reset the unit has to be unplugged from power outlet for 24 hours. Then empty both the fridge and freezer section completely. Then after 24 hours.Clean the melted ice water from the inner parts. Then reconnect the power cord of the unit to power outlet.Set the temperature to normal settings. It will take near to 4 hours for your unit to run its regular cooling cycle.Once this is done then check,if the same problem is seen.-----------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
If you are using a HDMI connection, often the connection will be lost between your xbox and your tv. In my case I simply change to another channel or the other HDMI channel and then back and the secure HDMI connection will be restored.
My BJII does this from time to time. Sometimes I've had to pull the battery and restart several times, but eventually it will boot up. Some people suggest pulling the battery and leaving it out for 45 minutes so the phone will reset. I just do it for a minute or two. If you've tried multiple battery pulls and left the battery out for a long time and it still freezes, you'll probably need to do a hard reset--press the "up" (top) part of the D pad and power on. Note that you'll totally reset your phone like this, so all your customizations will be gone, but at least the phone should work.
Hello sg2134,
I too use the Sony Ericson Z750a. If the phone freezes up or it does not respond to the button presses, then switch off the mobile and switch it on again. If the problem persists, you can remove the battery and and the sim and put it back again. Then you will find the mobile to be normal again.
