I used to sell eDigital products, particularly the Treos.
I have put Music Explorer plus the MXP 100 firmware update on my webspace for a limited time:

Oh and the installer will probably ask for edigUSB.sys as well, it's the USB driver for the eDigital mp3 players. Again, it's hosted here: http://benedict.fastmail.co.uk/edigUSB.s...

The player should have came with a usb connection cable as well as a CD with the software on it. The easiest way would be to install the software on your computer and then connect the player to your computer. Once connected, open up the program and it should load all of the songs.
This mp3 player recognize only original music(songs) format I have earlier heard about that is why every thime the software which is using for itself not let it connect to pc Do the following if you are using windows xp 32 bit then change it to 64 bit if using Apple I mac then work on panther and try to play only originals songs in to it if you dont have originals then by using any kind of sound editing software you can change your local songs to original format like .WAV
most of the mp3 players are recognized without installation cd itself. please answer me the following questions 1. are you using your mp3 player for the first time in your computer or you uninstalled the software and lost the cd .
2. what happens (or shown )in the screen of the player when you connect the device to your pc
Hi, Have you tried contacting Insignia. They may provide you with a download link for the drivers/software you need.
You should be able to connect your player even without the software. Windows should detect it once the USB is plugged in. Just drag and drop the songs you want onto the device.
