Memory cards are easy to just blow up and quit. Looks like this is what happened to yours. I suggest you get a new and save what info you can before you lose more. Sorry.
1st check is ur memory card is ok. u can check it by connect pc. if card ok then format ur phone and insert ur card. but if still no result then its ur memory card slot problem or ur memory card ic has damaged.
it is not possible to format the phone memory of nokia 6630 or any other nokia mobile phones. Files in the phone memory can be deleated manually but once try by restiring factory setting by going in the setting option.
In order to format your Nokia 6630, please follow the following
steps.
Note: Make sure that you format the memory card first so that
there is no trace of virus in the phone and remove any password from the memory
card.
1. First of all make sure that your phone's
battery is full and then switch off you mobile phone. 2. You'll need to hold three buttons together
which are: The green button, left selection key and the no. 3 key 3. Keep on holding these three buttons and then
press the power button to switch it on. 4. After this you'll get a screen which will say
FORMATTING.... after that you can leave the keys.
Caution: This will completely format your phone
memory and will reload the whole phone due to which you'll lose all your
contacts or in fact anything stored in the phone memory.
I hope this helps you....this step can be taken
for any Nokia phone which has Symbian OS Series 60 Version 7 and above...
If you encounter situation like below on your 6630,
1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot. 2. Phone only able to boot-up to "Nokia" word screen. 3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that. 4. Error messages such as "Child Installer" keeps popping-up.
5. Contact Re-tailer Do a Full phone formatting on your 6630! as steps below,
1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left. 2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card. 3. Switch-off your 6630 phone. 4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
Remember, do not let go all of the keys and hold keys until you see a nokia logo goes to white or it will blink....
5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6630 will back to original system and factory settting.
All apps installed & not of the phones' default will be lost. If you did a backup on your mmc, you can restore it back to the C drive again.
Thank you for rating this Tip.
1. sms uusually don't get backuped, unless uploading information from your phone to a pc is supported by your phone. try to look up user's guide.
2. rebooting BB5 class phones such as 6630,6680,6681, N series usually require full reformatting. try visiting your local non-Nokia/independent service stations.
