I have a sceptre tv that while turning on still doesnt show a picture or sound most times, the tv is only about 4 months old, not very heavy use, going days sometimes without being turned on more than 3 or 4 hours, sometimes we see the picture and sound just fine but then it gets dim and goes completely out rather quickly, and like i said, the tv is STILL ON when it does this

The power supply regulator board to your set has the fault. If you try to open the set, or try to repair it by yourself, the warranty will void. The set must have warranty as it is new. Why do you spend for it? Just contact the nearest authorised service center for Sceptre. the components in this set will be very hard to get from open electronic spare part market, and will costly too.

well the tv was a gift on dec 9th for my husbands 25th birthday so i dont have everything i need to for the warranty, shucky darns i might as well just buy a new tv with a better name lol

You must have know the person who gave you this TV as gift. Them might have bought it from any delaer, and they will have its bill, and other documents like, user manual, warranty card etc:- Just try to collect these documents from them. Tehy will have it. It is enough. No matter who bought it, the records will talk to service center. OK.

I bought my scepter tv year it is not a year old yet. A few ago I notice that when I turn my tv on the power is on but no picture.. What can I do, I have a 40 inch tv.
