My canon s520 refuses to deliver a 4x6 print. i select 4x6 as desired size in both the application i'm using, e.g. Adobe Photoshop cs2, Faststone image viewer, et al. as well as in the preferences in the printer interface, but all i get is a partial image on the lower portion of the paper. i'm sure i am missing something very simple, but i can't seem to find it. many thanks in advance, casey jones
Try to find the margin settings of the application that you are printing with. If margins are setup in a wrong way it will print anywhere it likes. Aso see the paper size. e.g. A4, A3 etc. I think you should take a normal a4 paper and print it and see the size of the image and the size of the document that you have created. Another way to test it is to copy the image(content) only and paste it in some other application like MS Word or something else and try to print it in 4x6. If it is an image and you can copy it to MS Paint then do it and cut everything else (crop the image accordig to its' size), then print. Remember to place the paper on the right hand side of the paper tray. (You can do the reverse also if it required.)
