I have a Samsung D500 that my brother gave to me because I lost my phone. He did not tell me there was anything wrong with it.
Basically the screen fades to white.
No amount of turning on and off will sort this out, it goes back to normal when it feels like it.
Does anybody know what this problem is and if it is possible to get it fixed?

If formatting your phone doesnt help there are three possible problems in order of priority (1) your screen is gone and needs replaced (2) your ribbon cable is gone and needs replaced (3) phone needs flashed, I have repaired the first two above on many samsungs with this fault! Not an easy job! Hope this helps.
