Can you please give more details on how to turn a WRK54G into a repeter?
I found your post below but I do need some more help.
Note that the router connected to the internet is from a neibour and the signal pwer in my house is too low.
"The WRK54G is actually a stripped down version of the WRT54G that was bundled with a wireless network adapter and sold under the kit name WKPC54G.
From what you say in your question I gather that you have a WRT54G already in place as your access point, and it is what is connected to your WAN. To use the WRK54G as a range extender repeater you should do the following:
1. Turn off DHCP 2. Turn off NAT 3. Assign a fixed IP that is in your Class C Block 4. Define the WRT54G as the Gateway
With this configuration it now should function as an extender/repeater, and any clients connecting to it will be serviced by the DHCP on the master router."
Okay, if it is a wireless repeater, you simply cannot, the WRK does not have such capabilities, but WIRED, that may work.
By default the routers IP is 192.168.1.1, so turn off the DHCP of the WRK, then change the IP to 192.168.1.something else. for the cable routings, from the primary router's ethernet cable should be plugged in to any LAN port of the 2nd router.
then you can relocate the 2nd router to where it has to be as long as the cable reaches it (not longer than 200 feet)
for the wireless settings, just make a different wireless networks for both routers.

There is a 'square button' on the extreme left just below the "Disp" button marked 'TV'. Repeted press of this button, you can change the input mode to TV/AV.
To select different input modes use [input] button.
You can change the inputs to various modes. Refer to its user manual for details. OK
it will allow you to enter the selection screen to pick safe mode, you just need to keep hitting the F8 key repetedly as soon as you hit the power button to turn the pc on.
