Problem burning (some) QT movies to DVD using Nero
Hi, I have a problem while creating a DVD from a collection of the crazy movie clips from the net. These come in various formats, but one in particular is giving me problems. The clip is the Toyota "Bulls" ad, in QT .mov format, and when the clip is played back on the DVD it plays without sound. (it plays just fine on the PC). There are 90 other clips on the CVD, some of them also .mov clips, and they all play back just fine.
I am using Nero 6.6 upgraded from the net with the "reloaded" upgrade, on a Pioneer DV-108. (Standard PC clone running AMD Sempron with 1G memory). I am burning at 1x to be careful, with otherwise the default settings, as I don't understand a lot about the various Nero options.
Is there perhaps a particular Nero setting I should check, to ensure that the .mov sound is properly recorded?
Thanks for any helpful suggestions...

Re: Problem burning (some) QT movies to DVD using Nero
Hi, i had a customer with what sounds to be the same problem with copying the .mov files. The reason for it being she needed the codecs to get the sound working or it would copy the disc with no sound. the way we fixed it was we needed to buy the Nero Premium as it gives you the extra codecs built in.
if your copying films etc your best to download dvd shrink you can find it free by searching on google.com
Hope this helps

Hi, Do you have Nero or any such recording software.. in that there will be option create video DVD/CD just click on that and give the source address where your movie is saved in your laptop?? it will create DVD for you which can be played in dvd player?
DVD players can only play DVD Standard format and some standard codec (divx,...), so if you want to play your clip in a DVD player you must convert them to the standard format...
an easy way is useing nero express:
nero express > video > DVD, then add yor clips, make a nice menu and then burn it on DVD.
Also you can use Nero vision for better menus or Ulead DVD movie factory for even better Menu if you can spend money. ;)
I hope this helps.
I always use Aimersoft DVD Creator, it can easily convert all popular video formats (AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG, 3GP, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, DAT, MOV, FLV, etc) to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable and home DVD players, that's very good, you can check it out here for free: http://www.aimersoft.com/dvd-creator.html
I guess that this file is from a VCD?
If you just burn that file onto a CD as a data CD it should play in your DVD player.
The AVSEQ01.dat file is already a (S)VCD file. It is in MPEG format and should be playable on a DVD player as is.
Alternatively you can import the file you want to burn into nero vision.
Once it is imported then choose to export the file as an MPEG file or burn direct to DVD.
