Won't connect to computer, will just turn on, but none of my computers sees it

Okay, I plug the player into my computer (I have tried all three computers in my house) and the player will turn on, but it won't see it on the computer. It used to come up with a little picture of 2 computers and say connected......but now it just turns on and stares at me. It will charge, but it wont connect to the computer.

I'm frustrated. Sansa WON'T help/doesn't care about this issue, and as a result, I have a two-month-old Sansa USB dongle that does absolutely nothing. Help!

I had a similar problem with mine at first. Try a different USB port on the computer. Make sure if using a PC and not a laptop that you are using the USB ports on the back of the tower and not the front. THis worked for me. Hope it helps. =)

Windows 7 will not reckonize my fuji jx580

If you want to install Fujifilm software then you will need administrator privileges for your computer.

You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I was downloading an audiobook onto my sansa clip player, which is about three months old. It was plugged into my computer's usb port, everything seemed to be okay until I unplugged it. It appeared to be...

hold the power button down for 15 seconds or until it turns off then start sansa and connect to your computer and just scan of the song and see if there my be other files besides your music and remove something like a boot file something If that doesn't work Format and start over.. Sync with windows media player it loads pretty quick

My sansa e250 mp3 player is unable to connect to computer nor recognized to use .It won`t turn on change the modes

turning on to change modes is your problem. If it's completely dead you may need to replace it or refurbish it. Or if the battery is completely dead plug it in all day until you can get it to turn on. ONCE ON then you can worry about getting it to connect. Try this:
There are two connection settings in USB: MTP and MSC. For some reason MTP is the default, but it doesn't connect properly on all computers. Select MSC and plug the player in again, the computer will recognize sansa e250 but not show the driver just yet. It is installing recognition software (just basic drivers - nothing heavy) and it doesnt tell you what its doing until its complete. WAIT FOR IT. Once it is complete you will see both the sansa e250 and the removable memory slot in your "my computer" now you're good to go.

My iPod shuffle will not charge

If iPod shuffle won’t turn on or respond
â If the status light blinks orange when you press a button, the iPod shuffle buttons are
disabled. Press and hold Play/Pause (’) for about three seconds, until the status light
blinks green.
â Connect iPod shuffle to a high-power USB port on your computer. Your iPod shuffle
battery may need to be recharged.
â Turn iPod shuffle off, wait five seconds, and then turn it on again.
â You may need to restore iPod shuffle software. See “Updating and Restoring
iPod shuffle Software” on page 26.

Cant transfer music or charge it

Could be one of three things.

  1. Try a different USB port, preferably one in the back of the PC
  2. Remove the battery from the back and re-insert it for a better contact
  3. Try a different PC.
If none of those work, thy this to re-install the Firmware.

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.

http://rapidshare.com/files/67740173/e200fw01.00.12.exe____

You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.

Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.

Please RATE my solution at the bottom.

Best of Luck.
