1. the Backup and Restore window, click Advanced.
2. In the Device Databases list, select the Messages database, then click Clear.
3. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The database is deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone.
4. Click Refresh to update the messages database on the BlackBerry smartphone.
5. From the File menu, click Open.
6. Go to the location where the BlackBerry smartphone backup file is saved, select the backup file, and click Open.
7. In the Computer databases list, select Messages. Click the arrow pointing to the Device Databases list.
8. A warning message appears. Click OK to continue. The messages database is restored to the BlackBerry smartphone.
9. Click Back.
10. Click main menu to return to the main menu of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

I found out on here how to fix it. You take the battery out, while the phone is turned on, leave it for 30 secs then put it back in. So far it seems to be working.

it include two solutions first take a anothe network sim card then check still the same problem occur if now the caller id is visible ask your service provider that whether they acivate the caller id service for your mobile number then check in your mobile that you disable the id . This is on the option like show my caller id (see is this this enabled or disabled if you disable this enable it) i suggest you better you try the mobile restore option

Cursor or Trackball malfunction problem can be fix by cleaning the interface or trackball replacement.

First step is by following this simple guide.

* Remove the back cover and the battery,you will see a metal shield cover and a screw,unscrew it using a T6 precision screw driver or any tool that can release that screw,lift up the metal cover and you'll see a flex connector,gently release that connector upward using any flat thin object like twizzer,now clean the both pin connector from the board or trackball connector using any rust solution and a cotton,be sure it is dry before putting it back,now assembly that portion and try if it is working.

Second or Last step.

* Otherwise you need to replace a trackball so you can use it properly,or go to a mobile service shop for parts replacement.
