I plug the zen in and nothing happens? and in a while it says device not recenized? help plz

The solution to this problem you have to install the disk first before pluging the player in. the PC has to recongize the player so it needs infomation first. also ssee if you meet the requirements first before plugging it in. A disk cam ewith the player it should work. Hope i solved your problem.

Creative zen won't turn on

I had a similar problem with my Zen Vision:M, whereby the computer just stopped recognizing my device. I found out it was because Windws has updated to Service Pack 3 automatically, and for some reason my player only works with SP2. It started working again when I installed SP2 again, but then I keep getting the annoying upgdate notifications from windows.

Trouble with my creative zen

this happened to my vreative zen also......... what i did is that i waited till all of the battery is gone then i just plugged it in my computer to charge and after that it was all good.....

take it back to the store and change it for a new one. sometimes the device can be damaged in the warehouse. i had to return the first one i purchased for same reason. hope you still have receipt. good luck!

Wont turn on

Keep charging it, that's what happens at the initial charge stage. It will take maybe 24 hours to charge and then will turn on fine.

lolz same bloody problem with both mine n mah sis's...
they should fix this **** fast...
or put a patch out or sumthing...

i installed
plugged it in n got jack for response
i reinstalled (many many times)
updated comp...
tried other devices (which worked excellently)
nuthin wrkz

My computer won't register my zen

I was having the same problems as all you guys,zen not detected,install driver,cant find driver etc...I finally clicked on the usb serial bus controllers in (control panel-system-hardware-device manager) and right clicked update driver for the usb.It found a driver on the c drive automatically,I rebooted,and everything worked.I noticed previously in the device manager I had 2 usb controllers (one for 2.0 and one for 1.xx).After the update it only shows one,and all my usb devices work,including the Zen!.
