I did this dumb thing and used the plug for my laptop to plugged my parteners iriver into the wall to try recharge it(as the battery on the iriver was flat and the plug from my laptop fit) but now the iriver is not working and when you plug it in to work a burnt smell comes from it. I havne't told my partener what really happened he thinks it must have got wet. does anyone know if there's anything I can do to fix it? or have i wrecked it for life?
