Disc will not play keeps saying invalid disc i have tried numerous discs..tried a reset by unplugging and replugging at the same time as holding in the power button on the surround dvd player/receiver
Oops sorry, I guess that I put the entire problem in the title section
I did make a few calls last night, and someone suggested that I do try the cleaning disc. Purchased one this am, and it will only get through the first step, and then stops. When I hit play, it starts from the beginning, and stops again. I did try a few DVDs after this process, and it still does not work. Very slow in the reading cycle, and then states "no valid disc." Always first unplug for a minute and make sure the discs are VERY CLEAN. Sometimes my player/recorders give an error message 2-3 times but eventually are able to load the disc.
Hello Just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and replug into after 5 minutes or so. This should reset the set to its factory settings. If it does not help you, just take out the disc inside, and insert an other one. See whether it reads it or not. If not, the set need service. Especially service to its DVD mechanical side. OK.
try putting the game disc into your game console and close the lid with your hand without pressing the close lid button. hold the disc tray with your hand and turn off the game console. Turn on the game console. If problem still persists try cleaning the xbox with a blower or a vaccum. Pm me if problem still continues. Thank you .
ok if the code on the box doesn't work you can download a free program called keyfinder you can get them off freeware sites, it will reveal the key for the game it takes a bit of playing around to figure out how to use the program but its not tricky
You could try putting the disc in the drive and then RIGHT click on my computer icon the disc should show in drive D right click on it an open it , find the installation part . install.
Have you tried unplugging the DVD player and letting it sit for a couple of minutes? If that doesn't work try holding the power button as you unplug/plug the machine.
I think the laser is mis-aligned or the laser unit needs replacing. If you are able to check this for yourself otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.
This is what LG customer service will instruct you to do. I have a LG LDA-511:
1. Unplug your unit. 2. After unplugging, wait a few seconds then press and hold the power button (yes, while the unit is unplugged). This resets the unit. 3. Plug in your unit. 4. Press the eject button.
If the disc does not come out, then you need service from an authorized service representative.
