My reciever is only 3 years old. My display lights are not coming on. Are there any recalls on this model or can you tell me what may be wrong? I saw other emails on the web where other customers with the same model are having the same problem.
Mine is 5 years old. Mine started that after 3 years. I would have to push down on the top front and center of the unit for it to light up. When I released it it goes back out. Now I have another problem. Earlier this year the sound would cut in and out. Now as of this very second the only audio I get is the music and sound effects unless I put it on Stereo. Can you help me with that?

on the reciever connect patchcords from the tape out to the line in on the eq than line out from the eq to the tape in on the reciever --when you turn on the tape monitor button then the eq is engaged --enjoy
try to be a little more clear on what you are trying to do.do you have it connected to hdtv and cable box if so run hdmi cable from cable box to tv and then run optical cable from reciever to cable box you then must turn reciever to cd/dvd to listen to it leave reciever in auto mode go into cable box menu under audio and select dolby digital
