I am having difficulty obtaining drivers O 3000 N100 OS XP Base System Device PCI bus 5, device 6, function 2 Base System Device PCI bus 5, device 6, function 3 Base System Device...

Base System Device drivers are usually installed by what the manufacturer calls "Chipset" drivers. If you are running Windows XP, there is an Intel Chipset driver available at the Lenovo Support Page for your model. If you are running an Operating System other than Windows XP, I would go to the above page and compare the drivers listed there with what you are seeing in Device Manager. Install the ones that are missing. Hope this helps!

How can i get drivers for my 5100 averatec install xp pro and now all drivers r missing no sound or video

THE ONLY WAY TO GET BACK THE PROPER DRIVERS SO YOUR SYSTEM IS UPDATED AND RUNS CORRECTLY IS TO DOWNLOAD OR SEND 4 A DRIVER RECOVERY DISK FROM EITHER YOUR PC'S MAKER OR XP PRO..COST IS USUALLY AROUND $50 BUCKS!

Reinstalled vista on Dell E521s but lost network connection.

Does in system hardware configuration the network adapter show up with a driver attached to it?
Recover disk/partitions not only includes windows but all further necessary drivers for such PC then windows provides. Graphic adapater, soundcard, networkadapter.
If there is a unrecognized networkk adaptor there type 1394 you should get to know which driver it needs.

This is why I dislike Dell PC's allways. You own one, they own you together with Microsoft

Wireless network

I don't think Vista has a working driver for the T2000 because it was designed for XP..Unless you upgraded the XP you had to Vista. You should install XP back on the laptop then go to (www.mpcdrivers.com)where you can get the exact drivers for your base unit and the XP operating system.Putting XP back on it, is really the only sensible thing to do, to ensure all hardware will be installed ,especially the biometrics. Thanks

Internal Wireless card will not activate

Most likely you need to install the driver for the NIC card. Go to Device Manger under System Properties and see if the Wireless NIC is showing a driver error. If so right click, select Update Driver and navigate the the file on the CD. Once the driver is installed if should function normally.
