My Iriver PMP-120 will no longer turn on , even though the battery appears to be fully charged (from the light on the front).
I have tried to charge the player using the mains adapter and the USB charger.
The player will not turn on when charged and standing alone or when charging.
This is purely due to the motherboard of ur mp4 player gone bust. u will need to send it to iriver germany to get it fixed. to send it there u wud need an invoice and a rma thing. all da info is on their website. otherwise try fixing it in da UK, i have da same problem and i am trying to find sum1 to fix it as i have lost da invoice. the problem u have shud not effect ur music in anyway.

try this. the iriver doesn't boot at times ( wrong charger or using the right charger abroad), unlatch the battery and hold down the power button for about 20 seconds. also reset the instrument. hopefully that might work for you.
when i turn on my Iriver PMP-140 it comes up with a message reading Boot Failure System file has an error. To solve the problem, connect the device to computor. (refer to 'trouble shooting' on the manuel) Filmware Ver. 1.24 I dont have a manual though.
