The left door on my sony TC-WR635S is stuck, won't open. HELP

I have the same issue can as will as the tape does not turn the tape is not jammed I have 2 of the Sony model TC-WR635S and was also does not power on can some one make a video how to repair this or photos the belts seem fine. Mine did that - you will have to patiently keep pressing the clear / stop / pause / etc and even power cycle a few (or many) times and finally you will hear the mechanism release the cassette. Once you hear that - you will be able to eject the cassette. After that go replace the belts.

Belts are striched and not turning pulleys. The belts need to be replaced ... is easy to replace....

you can not fix it without tearing it apart. if you do take it apart, try to get the front panel off. Hit the eject button and look for a lever that is stuck.

Most probably your door lock is damaged. You are not supposed to force it open, you have to wait for at least 2 minutes (or till the lock sign is off) after the wash is over to open the door, never force it.
You can just google your model number and search for parts to obtain it. It is quite possible you can change it yourself. See that the line is disconnected from the mains.

Stuck Sony CDP-CX355 Carousel CD player - door won't open, just hums

Something must be jammed so a trip to a Technician will resolve that. This is one of the reason I never buy changers of any kind because over the years I have had to fix so many cartridge, platter and other changers that are all designed poorly enough to make the 90 day period but not last too much longer. The Sony ES models are the best but they were big money back then- I have a broken one in my shop now.

Sony dsc-w190 won't turn on

The system control board has shut the camera down to prevent damage, the lens housing will need to be replaced because you have two problems, one the lens is jammed and second the shutter is open, the cost to repair will be equal if not more than a new one.

But received a used sony tc we670 from a dealer who said that the unit was funcitioning. Connected it to my Sony receiver but unfortunately it won't start by pressing in the power button. Any ideas...

I have a TC WR670 and have the same problem. I removed the cover after unplugging the AC. I saw two fuses labelled 1.25 Amps. Both were blown. I got 1.5 amp fuses at Radio Shack and it still doesn't work so must be the transformer?

I have a Pentair MiniMax NT. I am getting ERR on the display but I can't seem to get the door open. I have tried turning the single screw that locks the left and right door but it won't unlock.

sometimes the door is just stuck. try pulling the door as you turn the locking screw. sometimes you need to use a flat head screw driver to help the door open as you turn the screw back and forth

SONY TC-WR550z dual tape deck eats tape and doors won't open I hadn't used this unit in 5 year (it's 13 or 14 years old), and before it worked fine. I went to use it again last month (MJ "Thriller" tape!)...

I don't know anything about the "eats tapes". You can take out your tape fairly easily thought. All you need to do is
unscrew screws on the left and right side of unit
remove the cover
use a flat head screw driver to gently push down on a white lever on the side of the drive mechanism while pushing the eject button
