Webgenie, the code should read F3, which indicates a open oven sensor (over 2900 ohms). The sensor should ohm out at 1080 ohms at room temp. Best thing to do is replace the oven temp. sensor. Easy job..Catriver..post back.

Frigidaire f5

Hell Gina, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand you have already tried resetting the range. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the unit on. Since the error code F5 reappeared, it typically indicates a communication error between the power board and UIB (user interface board). In this case, I would recommend reaching out to an expert technician to ensure the appropriate replacement part is order and installed correctly to prevent future issues. I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect.

I have a frigidaire m/n PLES389ECD and the burners and oven aren't working and had the error code f20, the clock timer was replaced but now the clock is the only thing working the burners and oven still...

The ESEC system and the electronic oven control ain't communicating. Check the wiring connections between the oven control and the esec controls. The thang is designed to lockout the top burners while the self clean feature is in use. If you failed to reconnect that connection which feeds back to the ESEC I imagine nothing does work. LOL. here's a video which shows how it works and I have the manual loaded on Gdocs fo you.

I was cooking in my Kitchenaid oven and the door locked. It will not unlock

We had the same thing happen

Turn the oven breaker off, then let the oven cool completely. Turn breaker on, there will be an error code appear, push and hold the "bake" button for at least one minute until an error message appears, then press the off button.
This reset the latch on our oven

F3 & F1 Errors & oven shuts off

Concerning the F3(Open or shorted oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Concerning the F1(Stuck touch pad)

Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.
