SOURCE: Panasonic DMR-EH57 Unlock codes

send it or take it to your local authorised panasonic service center, they can normally do it while you wait. If it is under 12 months old then panasonic will normally pay for this, otherwise a small fee can apply, so if you are unsure on who is your local service, either give panasonic a call or check out there website.

DVD ONLY PLAYS IN BLACK AND WHITE

figure out if yout tv and your dvd is using the same color system, check also if you installed your rca connector on proper video output of your dvd dont interchane yuv to video out connectors ,check also your dvd's video out setting ,like interlace, pc,yuv, rgb, if you are using video in on your tv you should select s-video or interlace if you are using yuv on your tv you should select yuv on your dvd

VHS plays in colour and DVD plays in black and white.

there is a circuit in the color section to put the tv to black and white if the color subcarrier is missing from the broadcast signal.
it is called a color killer and needs to be adjusted.
it is for a technician to do.
it operates off the 3.58mhz color subcarrier.
