The Ice Machine is working but the water is not flowing

I have a RS2630SH Side by Side and the Ice is working but the water will not flow. I have been told the line to the ice may be frozen since it was not used for a few weeks. However, after removing the drawer to the ice, I do not see
the line for the water. This has worked fine, I changed the filter and I can hear what appears to be water however nothing will flow from the water spout. I have check the back to ensure all is clear from the lines. I mentioned the line may be froze however I am not able to find where the line is stored. Please help.

There is a water tank situatet behind the salad crisper ( drawer) if is iced up reduce the temperature on your thermostat the line then goes under the cabinet if you take the kickplate off you might be able to see it and then attaches under the freezer door towards the bottom hinge. Personally I think that the inlet water valve is gone they have a duble valve one feeds the ice maker and the other the water supply it can only be replaced as a whole unit.

I noticed that my ice maker continues to flow water into tray causing a big ice block could it be that i have a water leak in the freezer

Ome cause might be water from the ice maker is over flowing caused by 2 problems: 1 it could be a wrong calculation of water from your ice maker electronic board or 2 water solenoid to your ice maker is leaking .

Hi i have a double door samsung fridge and when i place dispensable ice on cube i still get crushed ice in addition is there any way to increase the speed at which water comes out the dispenser

There is likely a faulty solenoid which switches the ice dispenser between "crush" and "cube" mode.

The water pressure at the water dispenser is proportional to the supply line water pressure. Unless there is a restriction in the supply line or the dispenser line, the only way to increase the water flow is to increase the supply line water pressure -- not an easy proposition.

More info, let me know.

The ice is working fine. However, the water will not flow. Water was working fine. I was out of town for about 4 weeks and the filter light was on when I returned. I changed the filter and now water...

Remove the drawer containing the Ice cubes , and blow a hair on the pipe where the water come in. If it wasn't used for 4 weeks perhaps the nozzle in the inlet pipe froze. Then put the empty drawer back in so the ice maker thinks it needs to make ice and see if it will work

Hope this helps

Water dipenser

The instruction book suggests this could be because the freezer temperature is set too low. Mine is set at -20C. It says the water line can freeze stopping water flow. Try reducing the temperature.

No Ice on GE Side by SIde -TFX25JRYF-WW

Usually there is a big metal frame-switch that controls the flow of water. It is located right above the ice tub. If your ice tub is full the ice cubes push this metal switch up so as to stop water supply. If you remove the ice tub out, chances are that you have accidentally pushed the metal switch all the way up until it clicks and stays there. In this position, the ice mold water flow is permanently stopped.

Insert the tub again in its position slowly. Before fully inserting it, pull the metal switch down inside the empty tub. With the switch down, insert the ice tub back into position.

If that does not apply for your refridgerator, look for a similar water flow switch to turn back on the water flow.

Hope this helps
