The picture is no longer correctly aligned with the edges of the TV. Leaving the sides of the picture kind of rounded. It also no longer lines up with the bottom edge so the ticker that runs on the bottom of certain programs is cut off, for example on espn the bottomline is cut off because the picture seems to be to far down. i'm sure the picture just needs to be lined up with the four edges of the T.V kind of like you used to have to with computer monitors when they didn't fit the screen, actually it is just like that. Any help would be great.
The quality of the picture other then this problem is great.

Re: The picture is round
No my freind, im afraid that you have bad waveshaper capacitors in the vertical sweep circuit in your TV set. This is not an adjustment. you should have a pro assist you with the repair of this set as it is dangerous because of the high voltage inside these sets.

Sorry for such a rubbish answer but if it' just the two side edges(L&R) I had this issue before and was told they are all like this with HD and it' not something you can fix without losing some of the all round picture by zooming in??
LOL,, It is,, just make sure the spring side is facing the motor not the housing and you'll be fine, make sure and scrape off the old gasket and replace it with a new one
This gun is very reliable unless tip is broken or miss-shaped and or wrong nails are being used. Depending on model # could be clip head or full round. For best results do not use generic nails because they are not the exact angle required. Place a strip of nails on outside of rails with nail-heads aligned with edge of rails. The first nail should align with path of the driver (place a straight edge alighed with path of driver). Most generic nails do not align correctly. Good luck
one side of the post is kind of flat and the other side is round. You need to line up the flat side of the hole in your paddle with the flat side of the post and then it should slip right on. You know that old saying " you put a square peg in a round hole" that is kind of what is going on with your paddle and post ....the 2 flat sides of the paddle and post have to be aligned.
take out screws ob back side around the edges not bottom. the grill that covers the speakers comes off by taking out screws on back in the middle of round knobs after screw is removed unscrew knob. then remove screws next to speakers then remove front of tv clean mirror in back. if that dosent work replace bulb.
The problem is probably the convergence power supply. The switching power supply chip on the convergence board will burn out, producing a rounded picture with 3 separate colors. The chip is a long, heat-sinked SIP (single-in-line package) located on the convergence board. You can find replacements on ebay.
