Hi,I have Pioneer DEH1530r and I just bought amp Crunch mxb2175 and Pioneer sub. I connected all wires( power lead to + battery, RCA 2 cinch, black earth lead) but amplifier green led never started on. I didnt connect remote turn on lead. I really dont know what to do, please help me. Thank you, Daniel
Your amp remote turn on lead supplies a tiny amount of voltage to your amp letting it know to turn on. if you never hooked this wire up from your receiver to your amp, of course it wont turn on.

SOURCE: Red LED "Protection Light is on" What is the problem
The red light means the amp is in protection mode. A few things can cause protection mode..... First disconnect the subs completely from the amp, and turn it on, if it powers up you have blown subs. Also try checking the main power wire at the battery...sometimes the current your meter is seeing is backfeeding from the remote wire, so your main power line could be blown at the fuse under the hood. hope this helps

SOURCE: Hooking up system using HI-INPUT amp wires.
This may sound dumb, but are there any other inputs left on the amp? Most amps that i have worked with have a special set of inputs for high input. (by high input you mean speaker level right?) If those exist the obvious answer is to use those. They should be labeled, so just hook them up according to them. You may need a special adapter from the amp manufacturer. If you dont have any high level inputs or any not broken inputs left you have two options. You can either A: junk the amp or B: open it up and solder new connectors back on. (it sounds harder than it really is. There are four large pieces of metal to solder onto the board for a set of inputs)

The remote bass gain on the driver seat broke, and I need another switch, what should I do?
The switch under the driver seat, near the brake and gas pedal broke as I was trying to turn more bass up. I went back to Future Shop to see if they can fix it, they told me they can't help me, and they have no switch replacement. They then lead me to this site and buy a new bass gain switch, I tried calling your number on this site for some help but it doesn't work, and says the number does not exist. 1-800-225-5689, if this is not the number please refer me to the right number so I can contact someone to help me. Thank you, sincerely, Michael
