TV Screen pauses, looks like a puzzle, then starts again..................???
I have a 3 year old Panasonic PT 47 x 54. Have had burn in twice, had bulbs changed twice. Burn in is back, but, not the problem. About 4 times an hour, the screen freezes, then looks like a jigsaw puzzle, then, starts again where it left off. Lasts about 3 seconds, but, the more it happens the more annoying it is, any ideas??? It happens also, when I am watching a DVD.
Thanks in advance.

Your problem is in the digital video processor circuit. This is a hard puppy to trouble shoot unless it happens all the time. Most of the sets I have seen do this, the main video processor IC is drfective and the repair was around 3 to 4 hundred bucks.

There is a sensor where the door of the bulb is located. You will need to purchase (or by-pass) the door sensor to allow your tv to function again. It is located inside the small hole nearest the screws for the bulb door.
have a tech clean inside cabinet and replace bulb , should be under warrantee if under 5 years old just had mine done free of charge from panasonic call 1 888 843 9788 they will direct you to a dealer. hope this helps
PANASONIC..PT-52LCX15. STARTED TO A LIGHT COMES ON THE SCREEN. THEN TWO LIGHTS. FINALLY TV DONT COMES ON. I PUT ON THE TV, AND ON BOTTON START BLINKING AND TV DONT COME ON..I TAKE OUT THE TV LAMP..IT LOOKS GOOD NOT BURN. SHOULD I REPLACE IT??
Sometimes, in the Panasonic projection sets, one of the convergence IC's shorts out and draws so much current that one of the resistors next to it glows red hot. The computer senses the extra current and shuts the set back off. This is quite an easy problem to correct, but the set should be serviced by a qualified tech familiar with panasonic projection sets.
