Hi to successfully update your software on your nokia. You will need to download Nokia PC suite to your PC first. http://www.nokia.com/gb-en/support/user-guide and then select your phone.

You then need to plug your phone into your P.C once Nokia PC Suite has completed installing.

If you require further help once you have completed instructions, I'd be happy to assist

At first try to connect through USB

  • Just connect your phone data cable into the USB port of the Computer
  • On your printer
  • Then Right Click on My Computer select Manage then Go to the Device Manager and Click on Update Hardware Option
  • After updated you see a Icon as yellow Question Marks with The name of your Phone.
  • Just Right Click on it and select Update Driver
  • Do as per the given Direction.

And install your PC- suit.

After successfully install your driver you just restart your computer. Your phone now installed with your PC

connect the mobile to pc by using datacable

if you still face the problem after the " restore factory settings" then
you can upgrade the firmware by downloading the "nokia software updater" from the nokia site given below it is free

My Nokia 3230 wont continue to start despite new battery Previously it would start, but then it would display the message " Insert Sim Card " afterwhich it would display " Sim Card Rejected ". And then it would read that the unit will " Restart " and then it will repeat the same messages all over again until it displayed only the brand "Nokia" and then went off. I then replace the battery but to no avail. It went off again after displaying Nokia upon turning it on.
